I have been a qualified Insolvency Practitioner for over 20 years, and am happy to help the users in this community with my expertise.
For the last ten years, I have specialised in all aspects of personal insolvency, and have an extensive and growing IVA portfolio operating on a national basis as a recognised industry expert. I went BR in April 2008 after two years with an IVA which eventually failed in March this year. I am hoping that years of debt worry are now behind me and I can offer support to those thinking about or going into BR. This forum has been my lifeline - there in my moments of panic.... and there have been a few!!

I have been working within the debt industry for three years. My first involvement was when I first sought help for my own problems with debt. Due to a failed business venture I found myself in an impossible to recover situation and after many failed attempts of settling my debts by short settlements, I ended up going Bankrupt in August 2006.
I love this industry with a passion and spend a great deal of time searching for new information within the industry to enable me to keep abreast of the current guidelines and trends. I feel it’s very satisfying when I am able to take away someone’s worry and pain. I have helped many people who have had to suffer the burden of debt and assisted many people trough Bankruptcy. I currently work for myself within the industry freelancing for various businesses. I advise potential new clients on the probable best solution that is required for them and act accordingly while maintaining in contact with the client until the issue has been resolved.

I'm 41 Years old and got into trouble with debt repayments when my mum died in 2005. I tried to organise an IVA but when my employers found out they sacked me for Gross Misconduct. I went bankrupt on May 21st 2008 with the help of Paul Johns from Reviva. I can honestly say it is the best decision I have ever made.
