I declared Myself bankrupt in June 2008 and was discharged in June 2009. With my family home, which had little or no equity in it, we reached an agreement with my trustee to sell my beneficial interest in the home to my father-in-law for £6,000. This has been completed pre being dischargd. However, I note from land registry searches that the official received still holds a charge on the property. I would appreciate some pointers about how I can get this charge removed, following both the sale and transfer of my beneficial interest and my release from bankruptcy in June.

I would drop the OR a line as this would be included in the £211 legal fees charged by the OR for the transfer.

it may of course just be a time delay in updating the records but worth checking
