After leaving university, I spent nine years in banking where I gleaned extensive experience in both the corporate and personal arenas. During my time as a Loans Specialist, I experienced first-hand how credit is given to people who don’t need it, and when they do, they can’t get it. Despite gaining numerous qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Bankers, I found people who could gain huge benefit from a debt consolidation loan were being turned down because “computer says no” (despite the fact that prudent lending and common sense would have said “yes” in most circumstances). |

During the last recession, I have vivid memories of sitting at my desk thinking that Insolvency was the industry to be in!
I entered into the Insolvency industry initially as a client following some unfortunate and ill-timed developments in my personal life. I experienced the pain first-hand that comes with overwhelming debt, as well as the journey through Insolvency to a life that is debt free. Having felt myself the massive positive transformation personally going through the process, I was eager to help others make the journey through to a life without financial pressure. |
