Posted - 25 June 2008 : 09:27:23 Hi kathline.h If it is only used to pay in your pension and for general living, it is safe in bankruptcy. The Post Office may freeze it temorarily while the OR confirms there are no large sums in there but they are usually unfrozen fairly quickly. I have not heard of anyone not being allowed to keep their Post Office account in bankruptcy as there are no credit facilities offered with it.
