Posted - 25 June 2008 : 17:59:28 Hi, me and my partner were officially made bankrupt on monday and am concerned about the OR interview. i gave up my job in january this year as the childcare and running around costs were eating almost all of the extra income i was gaining. i had only kept my job that long because that income was vital for us to put foward an IVA proposal, even though we weren't any better off with it. i am a little concerned that when i have my interview the OR will think i have done it just to avoid a IPO as i never used official childcare or kept receipts or anything. i didnt put any of these extra expenses on the IVA proposal as we could not have offered them enough if we had. ridiculous i know. Do you think it will be frowned upon or am i just fretting again over nothing....? thanks sarah

The whole idea of BR is for a Fresh Start! So if you work in the future you will be earning hard earned cash to spend on you/family and not to pay the big fat creditors!Just my view x
