Posted - 27 June 2008 : 23:27:26 I have approx 55k in debt on credit cards and loans. I took an IVA out in Jan 07 with Blair Endersby but due to an accident I had to cease payments in February of this year. I have not been able to pay my mortgage for 5 months and am now resigned to losing that. I have had to borrow money off friends and family in order to survive and am now constantly hounded to pay it back.
I have spoken to my iva company who seem to be taking an eternity (4 months so far) to help me declare bankruptcy and so is there an easier/quicker way I can get this sorted so I can move on with my life? Many thanks in advance

you can also download them at the insolvency website https://www.insolvencydirect.gov.uk/isolv If you have been in an iva you need to have a letter from your ip to say that the iva has failed. If you download them from the website you can fill it in online this is helpful as you need 3 copies.

Posted - 28 June 2008 : 13:14:24 Hi dan.a Welcome to the forum! As far as I am aware you can actually just get the forms sent to you from your local court and fill them in yourself, I know it sounds daunting but I did it myself and without all the valuable advice and support of this forum would probably still be deeply unhappy and drowning in debt! Just be patient and one of the experts to give you there advice, but in the meantime try to relax a little in the sun and dream about your new debt free future lol! Maxine x
