Posted - 30 June 2008 : 20:00:22 Hi all. I went BR on the 4th June/ OR interview 13th June. Signed an IPA agreement at the OR interview on the form it says 1st Payment due on or around 1st August. Since reading through I queried the IPA , spoke to the OR and he agreed that the amounts can be reduced! So he drew up a new form and I signed. On the new form it states 1st Payment is now due 1st September....is this new date correct?...why does it take so long (better for me!)from signing for the IPA for it to kick in? What is the process timescales when setting up an IPA?

Posted - 01 July 2008 : 09:40:23 I went BR at the end of March 2007 and made my first payment on 30th June 2007 - from what other people have said 3 months seems the normal length of time before the first payment.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Posted - 30 June 2008 : 20:07:03 Hi winchester78 - I think you pay the IPA for 3 years from the first payment so I suppose it doesn't matter to the OR whether its August or September. Nice to get it reduced!
