Help with an advice please.I have been BR since end of May.before BR I had an attachment of earnings against me.I recieved a letter today from Court to come to a hearing next month ,my major creditor applied for a re-determination regarding the Attachment of earning.
How come that I still had to go to court for a debt that is dealt with through BR. Is it starting again?

need you advice. regards
Abd

Hi ABD,

No need to worry! Your BR has wiped out the debt, and so, the Attachment of Earnings. Make the OR aware at your earliest convenience and they'll sort it for you!

I would suggest that you call the Official receivers office dealing with your case and ask him to help sort it out.

Imagin I called the court and told them ,that iam BR.
she looked at the screen and told me ,nothing is in our records about your BR, now I have to send her my BR papers and she will send it to the judge to decide.I hope it is just the issue of the right hand ,not having a clue about what the left is doing, otherwise it is hell again. My family is already stressed.

No ,the debt is not a local council, and my OR has informed the court and the creditor about my BR, but you have got a point here about the timing and right and left hand thing which is very common(hope so in my case)

Is the debt a local Council???

Hi Abd have you contacted the court or the creditor to advice them that you're BR. It might just be a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.
