Posted - 04 July 2008 : 12:08:46 My step-daughter lives with us and has no idea that we are to go BR. I'm sure that she will be safe, and have checked that it will not affect her job in finance in the City. But now I think she mt find out. Littlewoods and Freemans are two of our creditors. My step-daughter asked if she could order some bikinis and dresses on my catalogue for her holiday. I told her that I had paid up and closed the accounts. I thought that would be it, but this morning a package arrived from Littlewoods! I phoned her at work and she said that she had opened accounts with both catalogues!!!!!!! How on earth did that happen? When someone in the same household with the same last name already owes them money? I'M DUMBFOUNDED. When we go BR will they cease her account and tell her why?

Your BR shouldn't effect your daughter. However, to be sure, I would suggest she files a Notice of Disassociation with the credit reference agencies to be sure (see their websites for details).
