Posted - 05 July 2008 : 19:05:30 hiya i am £28000 in debt i cant afford to pay them i failed in an IVA last year and have letters daily threatning to take me to court, i am currently employed but am temporary and could be layed off any day, i dont have enough money after paying rent and lodge to pay anymore bills,can i declare bankruptcy as i am temporary employed, also i read somewhere that if i earn under 14,000 a year i could pay less court costs is that right, please help someone.

Posted - 05 July 2008 : 21:25:46 If you are in receipt of income support, then you can save £150 of the Court filing fee of £495.
