Posted - 15 July 2008 : 20:54:24 One last question I promise lol
Now as we are both going BR I know that we put down our full mortgage payments/insurances/food etc twice (on each SOA) and dont split it 50/50, but do I put down my husbands travel to and from work on mine aswell? And his work meals? Or does he just do this on his? We have a joint account and everything is split evenly. Ta!!!

Posted - 17 July 2008 : 09:05:51 Thats exactly how I feel too Melanie. It would also be nice to know about my car. This course is at Gatwick, so not as far as Heathrow but still 100 miles round trip daily. If I go by train it will cost £26.40 per day, or by car its about £7-8 in fuel (I think), just want to be entirely focused.
Strange how things happen. Finsihed our forms on tuesday night (except hubby tax ref which we are waiting on) and on wednesdat morning a huge parcel arrived with all my pre-course studying material! If the forms had not been done yesterday I would have panicked at the thought of so much important things to do, think I would have shut-down!

Posted - 17 July 2008 : 00:44:29 The OR will work around your course - but I would try and push for the interview before you start and then you can focus completely on work without any more worry.

Posted - 16 July 2008 : 10:20:47 Extremeley positive, however worried about the OR interview. We go BR on the 20th August and I return to work Sep 3rd for a very intensive 3 week course. If the OR wants to interview me then, I will not be allowed to continue with the course. I am hoping that they will understand and interview me after the 19th Sept, or in the gap between Aug 20th and Sep 3rd.

Posted - 15 July 2008 : 21:18:14 Thanks Melanie, you really are a star and give so much help. Forms all but done now, we just need to get hubbys Tax Reference number and address of tax office as these are not on his wage slips. Almost there; huge relief to have finally completed the forms.

Posted - 15 July 2008 : 20:56:38 It doesn't really matter whether you included a full household budget and replicate this on both forms, or you split things down the middle or in any other combination to be frank - so long as you advise the OR which way you have done it. As husband and wife you will be allocated to the same examiner, so they will easily be able to marry up your figures to assess whether an IPA or IPO is in order.
