Posted - 24 August 2008 : 19:00:09 I have recently been discharged and I am wondering what happens now, I haven't received a letter or anything to tell me what the situation is now and what I have to do next. I do not pay Income payments as I do not earn enough to do so. What happens if I come into some money say from a divorce? If I get a higher paid job?

Posted - 24 August 2008 : 19:05:03 Hi Sharron, As far as I can tell thats it.
I dont think you have to advise the OR of anything now as you are free of obligation to them. If you want a cert of discharge then you can pay for one I think its £60 but if you ask the OR then they may be able to offer you a letter to say the same. I believe that im right about how your not obligated anymore. If im not I will no doubt be corrected. Enjoy your freedom. Jo
