The IPA isn't backdated so there is no need to worry about being asked to pay a lump sum.

A NT IPA (i.e. the NT Tax Code) can be backdated but an income IPA cannot.

Hi newbee
I thought that an IPA starts on the date when the amount is agreed not back dated

regards Richard

There is no problem following up with them regarding the IPA but as you have provided the reasons as to why you shouldn't pay it so the ball is in their court now.
