Hello
I had my telephone interview with the official receiver on Monday and today I received a pack from him with some forms to be signed by myself and also witnessed.
He has also requested the last 12 months statements for all banks and credit cards I have had.
Can anyone let me know when I said what I have and the signed forms back to him what will happen then
Also how long does it take until my creditors are informed of my bankruptcy by officail receiver.
Thanks for your help

Hi gedc

The OR will review your forms and copy statements to check there is nothing obviously suspicious (e.g. a credit card payment to Harrods for £1,000 the week before you went bankrupt)

Assuming there is nothing untoward, he will deal with whatever the remaining issues are (car, property, IPA etc) if any, and close the case.

If he has any queries he will usually write to you asking for more details or explanations.

Hope this helps

Good luck

Hello
Ok thanks for that.
What I ment is when I have sent the OR the statements I have what will happen next does it finish then or does it carry on.
Thanks

Hi Gedc

once the or gets the statements back he will contact creditors normally 4 - 6 weeks

No harm in you contacting the creditors telling them your bankrupt, they will want to know court , reference and address of OR

regards Richard
