Posted - 26 May 2010 : 20:04:59 Hope someone can offer some advice. I was discharged in December 2009. I recently got my credit report and 2 of the creditors in my BR are still showing as balances owed. Experian have contacted them but so far only 1 has responded saying that they are unable to "amend/delete the entry in question at the current time". They want me to contact them direct with my discharge certificate. Can they keep this entry as me owing them money for the full 6 years? I made the difficult decision to go BR to clear my debts as I was redundant so this is defeating the object isn't it??? I had hoped to get a small cc with Vanquis to start to rebuilding my credit score. They have refused me because of this. Bit confused as to what to do next. Thanks H |
