Posted - 29 May 2010 : 16:03:55 hi had a letter from the or today they have been looking at my i&e for some months now and want me to pay into ipa i dont mind but they keep coming up with silly amouths that i dont have the new amount today is £416 they say i have a surplus of £594 they have looked at my wage slips for jan,feb,march and said i get paid £2417 a mouth which is at £604.45 a week after getting myself very upset as i do not have this money a mouth it wasnt until i looked at a photo copy of the wage slip and they have looked at what i was bringing home when i was on a nil tax code and now think that is what i take home but i am now paying tax again of £108 a week .i also have a payment to pay back money to my work at £147 a month
they also sent me a brake down of what they have aloud and not also how much my parner pays towords the bills and how much i pay to each bill think its been worked out on a percentage bases which is fine but when they now relise they have worked my wage out and i only have £28 left after the percentage they say i pay can they then change that percentage and change their minds on what they have aloud me or does it stay the same now i have it all in writing
sorry if its a bit confussing but ive been very worryed about this im so worryed they will not amit to the mistake they have made with the wages and tax it says if i dont agree with the total they will make it a court order but dont see how they can when they have not left me with any more to pay the tax man with
any advice would be brill

Posted - 29 May 2010 : 16:23:02 well first of all point out their mistake, give then a ring it is often better and quicker to talk it through and explain yourself and then get it in writing later
