Hello there

Quick question if thats ok people?

I have almost completed the SOA form. Having spoken to a few debt management companies about what may or may not happen in my case two companies has advised me to cancel the direct debits for my Gas/Elec/Water etc and go to quarterly billing to save money. Is this correct?

I was under the impression that I shouldn't really change anything before declaring myself BR? I thought it would be more beneficial for me to keep all my direct debits as they are and let the OR look at my Income as it is when trying to work out what my disposable income is?

Also does anyone have the link to the spreadsheet which shows the figures that the OR allows for living expenses etc so I can work out rought where I stand.

Thank you once again

I cannot see any point in changing your DDs, unless your bank is a creditor, in any case its more expensive on quartely billing than monthly DD
