Posted - 17 July 2010 : 18:05:26 we are thinking of going into bankruptcy, my husband has 2 classic daimler's which need repairing to make road worthy, we are considering trying to sell them so we raise deposit for a property as our own is going to be repossed, can we sell the cars

I am confused by your entry
the cars would be looked at by the official receiver, they would make a valuation to preair and how much they would collect at auction.
do you mean raise a deposit to pay for the rent of a new property, not to buy.
how far your own home is down the repossession process and how aggressive the lender is ?
with both the car and home issue to be resolved before / during bankruptcy I would suggest that you speak to one of the experts and get everything thoroughly planned.
