Posted - 22 July 2010 : 14:50:29 its also illegal for the creditor to ask for the money and accept payment knowing that you have gone BR.
I did play games with a couple of my creditors as after i went bankrupt and they made the second give us some money telephone call (the first one i did inform them i had gone BR) by this time i knew that my expert had sent a letter explaining my situation as had the OR.
Then on the second call i said i would give them some money as long as they agreed not to snore when we shared a prison cell !! I then explained again i was BR and that they also breached the rules..... the line went dead and for some reason those creditors did not call me back and they got the message i was BR... I know very immature and childish but it helped me release the pressure !
sorry Phil back to your original comment during the 12 months of Bankruptcy the OR will deal with your creditors and divide your assets amongst your creditors (I know what assets !) you should not really have any contact with teh creditors except to say please contact MY OR they will deal with you.

Posted - 20 July 2010 : 21:01:28 Once you are made BR most debts (excluding court fines, maintenance etc) up to that moment are included and it's illegal for you to make a payment.
Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.
Last IPA payment made on 30th June 2010 - it's over at last!

Posted - 20 July 2010 : 20:18:47 Hi i filed for bankrupcy today all went well. Once you have passed this stage they cant touch you they cant demand any kind of payment. If they do you need to explain to them that you are bankrupt and quote your court number. i cant say on after the 12months as i am just at the start of BB
