I am having huge problems with neighbours and wish to move house, (mortgaged).
Due to economic circumstances the house is now not worth the mortgage and I cannot afford to make up the difference to the mortgage company (and still rent a house) if I had it repossessed, or get a mortgage due to credit history.
Can I declare bankruptcy although financially I can pay at the moment but need to move as we are persecuted constantly, with lots of damage cars etc.
I do also have a credit card that costs me £200/month. If this was gone I could then maybe afford somewhere!!

Hi worried P

welcome to the forum.

Neighbour hood disputes are often a nightmare and cause the people on the end of the abuse unlimited suffering.

I know that it is a balancing act for involving your local Neighbourhood policing Team as their involvement should be declared on the house details of sale but sometimes they can actually help. (sometimes not).

have you considered renting your house out ?

their are various solutions and options that can be suggested that may help you to reconstruct your finances. however each option will generate a load more questions.

I would suggest at this early stage speak to one of the experts to the left,(first phone call is normally free) they will be able to run through each option explaining the positive and negative of each solution.

I used the services of paul and his team at Reviva they really helped with the whole situation, explaining clearly the whole process.

good luck regards Richard
