I currently receive an occupational pension from my former employer, which was the NHS. This started approx 25 years ago, and the lump sum has long gone.

If I go BR, will I lose my regular monthly pension payments - ie forfeit the whole pension rights? I realise that this income will be assessed as part of any IPA, but if I lose it all forever then this is very scary?

Yo have nothing to worry about on this score.

Good luck

Thanks - I thought this was probably the case, but wanted to make sure.
