Posted - 18 August 2010 : 09:56:22 I checked the insolvency register today and saw this foot note:
Order suspending bankrupt’s discharge under Section 279(3) of the Insolvency Act 1986 until the fulfillment of conditions as specified in the Order made by the Court and effective from 02 July 2010.
Please can someone explain what will happen next?
Today was the Automatic Discharge Date.

If you have changed email address / phone number and home address / country without advising them they may have wanted the answer to a simple question but assumed that you were not cooperating rather than being uncontactable.

Thanks for the update, I have contacted my IP and hopefully will get a reply soon via them with the OR.
Hope this is over soon.

Posted - 18 August 2010 : 11:57:49 There are several reasons that your BR can be suspended but, rather than speculating, it is best to contact the OR.
If the suspension date was the 2nd July I am surprised the OR hasn't contacted you themselves or maybe the problem is they have been unable to contact you and this is why the BR has been suspended? |

Posted - 18 August 2010 : 10:39:42 You need to contact your official receiver asap as this suggests that something has gone afoot with your br. They will be able to explain it to you and why they have done this.

Posted - 18 August 2010 : 10:12:27 Hi Alex,
Does this refer to yourself? I think they can suspend discharge if you have failed to supply information they required. Not really sure to be honest. I'm sure an expert will be able to provide a more detailed response though.
