Posted - 27 September 2010 : 14:16:13 Hi, my wife and i have IVA's taken out at the same time. We are now seperated and i want to go Bankrupt. Will my wife have to as well? or can she carry on with the IVA.We make one joint payment. Thanks
Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.
Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

If you do declare BR then any joint debts would automatically revert to your wife however I am not sure if IVAs are joint and if one party ends the IVA whether the IVA fails or the other person has the option to carry on paying into the IVA.
