just investigating BR, will we lose house if taking the BR route, £38000 debt, mortgage owing £96000, secured loan £17000, house value around £13000 although houses in our street not selling, not one sold in the last 12mths. a neighbour did a sell to let and got £70000,
were waiting for our fail iva certificate to come through, been waiting since april for it, finnaly told again that we get it in two wks, as they looked into making us BR but it was not viable.
I can no longer live with this debt, we just want an end to it. any advice appreciated. if you need more info to help then no problem. thanks |

yes that is correct, the trustee will usually offer it to you or your family first as this is the easiest way to sort it out. It ay be worth getting an estate agant valuation first just to see roughly how much equity there is and if it would be viable |

would i be right in saying, that my daughter could buy a beneficial interest in our property to stop us losing it.
me and hubby are joint owners.
