Posted - 13 July 2011 : 17:23:17 Hello,
I wonder if anyone could advise me on this issue please?
I have been paying into an IPA for the past 2 years and have 1 year remaing. During that time I have been living in a really rough area mainly because it is fairly cheap, but I have now had enough and need to move to a nicer area as I am becoming more depressed living in this area and even scared to go out, especially after dark because of the gangs and drunks in the streets. If I found a place which was more than the rent I am currenly paying, do you think it would be declined. I am currently paying £265 per month rent but this could increase to £350 for a nicer property in a nicer area. Can anyone help please?

Posted - 14 July 2011 : 09:54:54 Thanks for the reassurance,
The fact the rent is so low is I share with my partner, although if that changes obviously the rent will be much higher. Would you think it best if I informed the OR once I have moved or tell them I am planning to move in advance? Obviously I don't know how much the rent will be until I find a place, but we are looking for something around £700 per month (ie. £350 each).
Thanks

Posted - 13 July 2011 : 19:58:57 When you say would it be declined do you mean that the OR wouldn't allow it? If so I don't think you'll have a problem, and £350 per month sounds very reasonable to me!

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.
Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last! |
