I can imagine!!

Two of my dogs have been neutered, the other one will be done next month.

Perhaps it could be a part of BR that you don't breed your dogs unless you declare it as a business!

it would, although there is a fine line, you usually hear that they have just 1 dog and they have only sold the puppies once or twice and they wernt really trading etc etc, Its amazing how many dogs that were for breeding just before the bankruptcy become beloved pets when the OR asks about them

I would have thought though that if you had a dog for breeding it would be classed as a business?

if it is truly a pet then there should not be a problem

That's different!!!!

I imagine it would be breeders - we once had a Great Dane that cost us £500 and that was in the 90's so dread to think what it would cost now.

My three are all rescue dogs now though.

the best one i have seen was a monkey, which was alowed to be kept as it was classified as a pet

Hi and welcome.

What sort of dog is it? I've not known of anyone who has had to sell a pet. People have been allowed to keep horses.
