Hi
Please can you help , we were decalared bankrupt on the 5th June 2006 and 10 days later CL finance that was included in the bankruptcy managed to get 8 judgements against me and my husband , when I phoned the court they said I should complete a form and p[ay £80 per judgements and they can not guarantee that the judgement would be reversed , as it stands on my credit report it looks as though we were declared bankrupt and then made some more debt we tried calling the creditor they do not answer back and we can not get any help all doors seems closed what can we do I can't afford to pay this type of money for something that is not my fault

Hi Cabbagepatch285

It does seem strange that CL Finance was able to obtain 8 Judgments after your bankruptcy. However having said that, it also sounds as if no further action has been taken to enforce the debts. It may be worth looking at your credit file to see if these CCJ's have been satisfied, which should happen in a bankruptcy scenario. Anyway the CCJ's disappear from your credit file six years after they were obtained, as does the bankruptcy entry. This is in 11 months time. I would just let time take its course.

All the best
