Posted - 14 January 2012 : 16:48:19 I have a hostile trustee in my bankruptcy. He emailed me on Friday at 11pm stating that he had discovered that I owned a Omega Seamaster watch bought 6 years ago for £1,200. I noticed that if you own a vehicle you can keep it if it's value is less than £2,500. This watch must only be worth £300 maximum it's very old and not in working order. Is he able to seize it?

Posted - 14 January 2012 : 16:58:40 If you need a car for work purposes then if it's of a reasonable value, you will be able to keep it once bankrupt, however, as a watch isn't deemed necessary or essential, then they can take it if they think it's going to be worth their while.
