Hi,we are on Job Seekers Allowance as we are both unemployed. We have no savings, and live as our benefits are paid into the bank account.
Will our bank account be seized and will we not be able to buy things like food, petrol, etc.

Hi Paul,

The Co-Operative Bank Cashminder comes highly recommended.

Avoid HSBC and First Direct as they will close your account.

Follow through
Make your dreams come true
Don't give up the fight
You will be alright
'Cause there's no one like you in the universe

what bank account do you have, the OR probably wont close the account if it has no overdraft, but the bank may decide that they dont want you as a customer. If that happens there are a couple of banks such as co-op and barclays that do offer accounts to bankrupts
