Posted - 24 February 2012 : 18:38:35 Once they start bankruptcy will a mortgagee short fall on a property which has not been repossessed, will that shortfall be covered by the bankruptcy or not. He no longer lives in the house the house is occupied by the co owner

If the house is repossessed, then any shortfall will fall into his bankruptcy, but the other person on the mortgage will be liable for the full amount of the shortfall.
