Posted - 25 February 2012 : 09:32:10 He has attempted to pay a debt but the cheque has been returned to him, saying that they are going to add interest. He did not think they could do that because it is less than £5000.

I wonder why they haven't cashed the cheque anyway!
The creditors can add interest and charges if the payments are late or not paid in full.
