Posted - 02 March 2012 : 17:15:17 I went bankrupt in may 2011 and have been out of work since, I havent been discharged from bankrupcy yet and have just been offered a job as a self employed electrician, my question is if I start working before im discharged will my creditors take all my wages for the next 3 years or will I be ok? If they can take my wages I was going to ask my boss to hold my wages until the end of may and get one big pay check then, can I do that? Thanks

If you have DI over £20 per month after your priority bills have been paid then you will have to pay an IPA.

Posted - 02 March 2012 : 17:56:28 They dont take all your wages they take a percentage of your disposable income. Not sure about what your suggesting though about your boss holding your wages until discharged.
