Posted - 02 March 2012 : 21:11:28 I have a query about an unpaid parking ticket. I called up and made the payment after receiving a letter stating that a bailiff would be attending my property. Will this effect my credit history and will I have a CCJ on my record ? I understand that a bailiff could only be used when there is a CCJ involved.

The letter may well have just been a standard one. Now that you have made the payment you shouldn't have any problems.
Check your credit record just to make sure but I doubt very much that you have a CCJ.
