You can try and change but your IVA will remain on your credit record for six years from the date of acceptance which might make it difficult.
If you visit the sister site to this, www.iva.co.uk they have a mortgage broker who posts on there. His name is Ryan and he can be found under the 'Ask a Question' link on the left hand side of that site.
Give him a ring for some free advice.
