Posted - 05 March 2012 : 19:45:10 Was the CCJ set aside, if not then i dont think you can have it removed from the credit record until the 6 year point, i believe that all you can do is hav it updated as having been satisfied |

Posted - 05 March 2012 : 19:23:35 If you have proof that this has been paid in full then you need to contact the credit reference agencies to get it removed and send copies of your proof.

We were not aware of the CCJ until a credit check of June last year showed it up when we were trying to rent a property. The value of the CCJ was £21k which was paid in full in Nov/Dec last year. We are now trying to get a mortgage for our dream home but have been declined due to the CCJ, even though it is cleared.
