My husband is in debt. We are separated but the house I live in is in his name. The bank are wanting to take it next week. Is there anything I can do to keep the house ?

Is the debt secured against the property? If it is, then yes, they can force a sale.

Please speak to an expert or visit the CAB for advice.

Hi,

Are the bank repossessing because you or your husband have stopped paying the mortgage?

If you are in arrears, then the only way you could keep the house is to come to an arrangement with the mortgage company to pay off the arrears.
