Posted - 12 March 2012 : 10:14:43 I have a debt which falls under The Limitation Act and have received a letter from my creditor. As I responded to the letter before the debt fell under The Limitation Act, they have now told me that the debt does not fall under The Limitation Act any longer. I did not acknowledge the debt, just contacted them. Are creditors correct in what they have told me. Please advise.

Not sure whether or not by contacting the creditor it counts as acknowledgement.
Hopefully one of our experts will be able to help.
