A speeding fine was issued to me, however I never received it. I have now received a visit from the bailiff. How do I deal with this ?

Give your local magistrates' court a call to find out when they accept stat decs as when I worked in the court service you could only go at certain times.

Nepensioner it's good to see you on here and please keep posting!

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side.

Hi
You need to go to Magistrates Court and make a Statutory Declaration to the effect that you knew nothing about this. You can then ask to have the case reopened and dealt with afresh
