the Trustees would want to evict us from our property?
I put up a post about a month ago, asking why Trustees are doing this to us (for anyone who might want to read the lead-up to this!) Since then - the proposed eviction didn't take place on Boxing Day - we have managed to find another buyer for our property and, obviously, the Trustees were advised; in fact, the selling agents managed to get the Trustees to agree we could stay there until completion (this is in writing, included in the sales particulars letter from the agents). However, because of Christmas and New Year bank holidays, I suspect the information wasn't passed through to the Solicitors and they went ahead and arranged for an Eviction Order, which is due to be executed on Monday, 28th January.
Can anyone answer me why, when completion is likely to take place within the next couple of weeks and the property will be vacated anyway on the completion date, the Trustees and their Solicitors deem it appropriate to take these eviction steps?
We’ve managed to find alternative accommodation but, due to difficulties trying to get referencing fees, etc., we are unable to progress this for about a week and I have tried to ask them not to go ahead with it, but they are refusing. I know I can try to get this stopped if I complete a Form N244 but, again, lack of funds prevents this.
If anyone has any idea of any VALID reason for the Trustees wanting to get us out when the sale is progressing satisfactorily, I would appreciate it. Also, is there any way – other than going to Court ourselves – we can get the eviction stopped?
They seem to be taking no heed of the sale situation or the time of year, especially at the moment with all the snow on the ground!

I'm sorry you're having to go through this, it sounds silly to me. But I'm sorry, I can't give any advice. Maybe you could contact an insolvency lawyer for some initial free advice.
