Posted - 22 September 2008 : 18:47:29 hi there,i am currently in debt to various loans,cards etc to the sum of over £20,000 and cant get a decent job that pays what i realy need and dont no what to do,it dosent help when every month the money isnt in the bank or i get a letter sent i get even more money added onto my debt just from charges and so on.i live at home with my parents,have no assets, car etc..and currently have no job and just seems to getting worse each day.i feel going bankrupt may leave me with a bad credit for some years but i think its the best thing for me to do.i just cant see the light at the end tunnel and need help.thank you.matthew

Posted - 22 September 2008 : 19:46:57 Hi with no assets and no income then you are insolvent and therefore bankruptcy is the the obvious way to free yourself from debt.
Yes it does impact on your credit scoring for 6 years or so but that really does pass by very quickly.
I felt as low as you last week....but in only a matter of days and because i come on this site it has opened my eyes and had all my questions answered. We get so much support here.
I didnt just want to read your thread, without replying.
