s.d	Posted - 22 September 2008 : 21:21:39 Hi i was discharged i 2007 but am being refused a savings account with the coop who i have a basic bank account with. i recently applied for an isa at hsbc and was refused this due to the fact they would not give me a bank account. I am currently saving with a local credit union but getting very little interest, do you know anyone who will give me a savings account?

grantspants	Posted - 22 September 2008 : 21:31:43 Hi, I believe Natwest do a savings account called 'First Reserve'. They offered it to me as it can also be used to pay wages into etc, so give them a try.
