Posted - 23 September 2008 : 15:31:40 Sorry another question, is it the norm with br, my wife has just been told by the nationwide that she can not transfer her current account from ltsb as i am showing up with a bad credit due to bankruptcy, i was not aware that it would affect my wife.
I have now opened a think bank account and first impression is excellent fingers crossed that it remains the same.
Regards

It is fairly common for the credit refernce agencies to financially link you in this way. All she needs to do is to fill out a Notice of Disassociation with the credit reference agencies and she should be fine.
