hi planning on going br on 3rd october. Natwest said they would issue default notice this was over a week ago. not heard a thing from them since, can they do things behind our backs before we go br?

hi Digman,

As Paul says, this is just the first step. Under the Consumer Credit Act, the lender has to issue a default notice before they can proceed further with CCJ's etc.

Hi digman

if Natwest are about to issue a default notice then you are only right at the beginning of what they can do.

There is no time at all for them to do anything now.
