Hi
not true. You should notify the OR if your husband's contribution to the household increases, there's a difference.

If your husband chooses to use any increase in his income to buy items, or to service additional credit he may wish to take on, that's his business as he is not BR.He does not have to direct additional income to the household.

If legislation required him to do so the SoA question would ask for other net income rather than other contributions. It doesn't because what your husband does with his income is his business although non BR spouses and partners are expected to contribute, as a minimum, a propertionate sum to the BR's income/contribution. Meaning you cannot, as the BR, direct all your funds to the household when that will cover all expenditure and have the spouse / partners contribute nothing.
