Hi im out of work and my debts are building up. I split up with my girlfriend and im currently living with my mum. Even if i find a new job the amount of back date i have on my debts is too much for me to pay. I have noway of getting hold of the £495 either. Can u offer me any advice on the best course of action to please?

hi blacknut
if you are a customer of certain water companies(?) they have charitable trust who will help towards the fees, ibelive anglian water is one but would not swear to it,also some of the power/gas suppiers have trusts the 2 i know are www.britishgasenergytrustfund.org.uk and
www.edfenergytrustfund.org.uk also as suzanne says ifyou receive benefits (income support jsa etc)you canclaim fora reduced fee to £345 i hope this of some help

Hi

If you are in receipt of benefits you may be entitled to a reduction in the court fee. If you call the court they will let you know.

Also in some areas there are charitable funds that can help out with the fees. Your local CAB should be able to let you know if there are any in your area.

Hi
I really don't know how to advise on this but I would recommend that you try and speak to one of the experts and perhaps give them a call and they may be able to help with some good advice.

This really is a great forum to use and i wish i had found it much sooner than I had as it has been very useful to me.

Good luck somehow everything works out in the end
