someone help my landlord of my shop has just called at the door wanting his money i dont know what made me say it ,but i told him i had gone bankrupt and i have not yet done so , was intending to go thursday. Can he with the bankrupcy claim tomorrow or do I need to do first thing in the morning

Where are you up to with him? Is it just arrears or has he taken it any further? He can't do anything in one day. Of course if you're ready with the forms etc, then it may make you feel better to get it done, but that would be the only reason. We told one of our creditors in a panic that we'd gone BR too. They had to wait another month till we actually did it, but didn't do anything in between times except call us every few days!

Try not to panic. Just get your papers and fees sorted and go BR as soon as you're ready.

And in the meantime don't answer the door to him, and if he persists, call the police!
