Posted - 18 November 2008 : 17:29:22 Hi there, I petitioned for bankruptcy in Aug 2004 and was discharged in Aug 2005. I have just been made aware (Nov 2008!) of a debt from 2003! Am I still liable for this debt even though it was icurred before my bankruptcy and discharge, but not included in the statement of affairs in my petition. Had I known about it, I would have included in the statement of affairs in my petition and it would have went the way of all my other debts! I'm so down about this! I could almost see the light at the end of the tunnel, until this demand arrived!

write and notify the creditor of your bankruptcy number / year / which court and, if you still have the records, the details of the OR's office that handled your bankruptcy.
