Just to say im waiting for phone call from examiner - been told this week that my blood pressure has been so high for so long (due to the stress) that i now have kidney damage, so the stress is killing me and i want to say that its not worth it - if you can sort out your debt problems earlier rather than later, and not cling onto hope like i did, then you will be doing yourself a favour.
I am very nervous but hope the examiner will realise this.

Morning useful

I just wanted to add my bit in which is really mirroring what debtrider has just said.

You must think about your health and wellbeing first, try not to think about the debts, you need to look after No 1. Sod the rest, your more important.

You have come so far and you will look back in a few weeks or so and think "What was all the fuss about" you will be fine, you will get through this.

Please please take care of YOU and you know mate that we are all here for you no matter what, we wont judge you, we are your shoulder of support.

All the best my friend. :-)

hello useful

I went bankrupt on October and I know how stressful all this is. I am sorry to hear about you health problems, but just try and keep calm and just answer any questions to the best of your ability. You are correct in saying to get your debt situation sorted sooner rather than later to avoid too much stress. I lived off credit for too long robbing peter to pay paul, and should have sorted it out sooner, but it is easier said than done when you are in this position.

Most people do not know which way to turn when they cannot afford to pay their debts, and try bury their head in the sand and pretend it is not happening.

This site is a great help to get advice, but I would advise anyone worrying about debt to get some advice and help from a professional. I used Paul Johns at Reviva UK who guided me through the whole bankruptcy process and gave me valuable advice.

Your health is more important than your debts.
