Hi everyone.

I am going bankrupt on the 5th of December. I have today received a letter from the Council which relates to my previous address. We moved last June and had arranged for the Council to collect some old furniture after we had left. We left it outside of the property but it was moved back inside by the team who go to the properties once they are empty. We have now been billed for over £300 to cover the removal of this furniture. We can appeal but unfortunately I have had too many dealings with my Council to expect a favourable outcome.

So my question is, can I include this bill as a debt on my SA?

Many thanks for any help or advice anyone can offer me.

Amanda

Hi Amanda

Well thats how i would see it, that it could be included as its still a bill and like i said pre BR so.

Whats the worst they can say and thats no, but i think i may be right here, im not always right but i have a gut feeling on this one.

I am so glad that you have your date now, its coming along quite quickly and then you can sit back and relax.

LOL
