Posted - 20 November 2008 : 19:17:23 Hi there!
Could anyone tell me if the repayments(IPO)when bankrupt only last for 3 years regardless, even if you have a BRU/BRO against you or can these repayments last for any number of years depending on your BRO status?
Thanks

Posted - 20 November 2008 : 19:46:42 From what i know the ipa/ipo last for 3 years from when it starts, not for the period of a BRO/BRU - ovbiously this can depend upon a change in circumstances, in which you would have to let the or know within about 14 days i think it is.

Posted - 20 November 2008 : 19:46:19 Hi Yes,
The IPA/IPO will last maximum 3 years. A BRU/BRO can last up to 15 years.
The IPA/IPO will only start when the OR starts it and not from the date of the BR.
